Description
This 7-in-1 sensor, on interchangeable battery, allows the measurement of temperature, relative humidity, CO2 level, Volatile Organic Components (VOC), barometric pressure, brightness. It communicates via a LORAWAN® network. It also has a presence sensor (PIR).
It has a configurable LED (traffic light), allowing you to be alerted, locally in the room, if a threshold level for one of the pollutants is exceeded. For example for CO2, a first threshold at 900ppm and a second at 1200ppm. For Volatile Organic Components, a first IAQ level at 100 and a second level at 200 (the air quality index measurement ranges from 0 to 500 for Total VOCs).
This 7-in-1 sensor also has a configurable buzzer, which can be activated if a pollutant threshold is exceeded. This buzzer can be deactivated via a button.
The data transmission frequency on the LORAWAN network is configurable.
All configurations can be carried out via a mobile application (via NFC) or via downlink message.
About LoRaWAN
The LORAWAN communication network (also called LORA) is a wireless communication network dedicated to the Internet of Things. It allows the transmission of small data packets over large distances (up to 15-20km). It consumes little energy, and allows sensors to operate on battery power for up to 10 years.
LORAWAN® is also particularly well suited to communication in buildings.
The success of LORAWAN® comes from its ease of implementation, in the form of a private network. There are also LORAWAN® public networks in some countries, such as:
- In Belgium and Luxembourg, Proximus operates a nation wide LoRaWAN network.
- In France, Orange and Bouygues operate a LoRaWAN network.
- In the Netherlands, KPN is the main LoRaWAN operator.
- In Switzerland, SwissCom is the main LORAWAN operator
- LoRaWAN is available in most Countries (Spain, http://localhost/products/private-lorawan-network/Andorra, Italy, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, UK, Ireland, Iceland…). Worldwide.
